[Solved!] Thunar thumbnails

Hi,

I'd like to have thumbnails enabled only in the Pictures and Wallpapers folders and nowhere else. Is this possible? In Thunar, you can enable or disable thumbnails. You can't enable them for a specific folder.

Thanks,

I must say I don't understand what to do and which files to create to enable thumbnails for Wallpapers and Pictures folders only, but thanks a lot.

Re: [Solved!] Thunar thumbnails

Simply create (if it doesn't already exist) the directory ~/.config/tumbler and copy over the /etc/xdg/tumbler/tumbler.rc file to this directory. Then edit that file and wherever it says "Locations=", change that line to read:

Locations=~/Pictures; ~/Wallpapers

...make sure those directories are correct.

Then either kill the tumblerd process or log out and back in again for it to take effect.
