Looking for an alternative to KDE Connect that does not require a ton of KDE/QT libraries. My main use case is to get text notifications and reply to them from my Debian + Xfce desktop.
What is everyone else using?
Thanks!

I was in the same boat after giving up on Plasma 6 and returning to the sanity of Xfce. If there's something better than KDE Connect, I haven't found it. I did run Pushbullet (browser extension <--> phone app) for a while, when I only needed to sync sms messages.

Greetings! If all you want to do is move files between your system (laptop / desktop/ mobile) then you may want to try Linux Min't "Warpinator" tool. Minimal dependencies, and there's an unofficial android port on the play store. Works like a charm. I used it to convert from failing desktops to new laptops, and for the occasional picture-to-laptop copy. Works perfectly for me. All my systems are on the same wifi network as one group, and each device has full 2-way capacity to send and receive files.
Cheers, m4a
