Re: getting corrupted window for some application in xfce arch amd system

Since it's across multiple applications my guess would be the video driver. What driver are you using? I would think it should be amdgpu. What about vulkan. Do you all those packages installed? I doubt it's a Xfce4 problem.

switching to linux-lts also dint workout for me,

`Kernel: 6.6.51-1-lts`

I almost have tried every method but still unable to find the cause of this problem, its nither GPU (since even if i disable improves nothing), nor kernel

Open VLC and under Tools>>Preferences>>Output you should see a drop down menu. Try selecting a different option.

Re: getting corrupted window for some application in xfce arch amd system

Yes Broooooo.. It worked [head smash] Atleast i can watch all those downloaded content when my wifi sucks

Here is what worked for me for vlc
Tools>>Preferences(all)>>Output>> ["XVideo Output (XCB)" or "X11 video output (XCB)" or "VDPAU output"]

ps - OBS Studio also had same glitch view which is now solved as well, Idk how but i guess getting linux-lts worked for me smile
