problem with external disks

Hi,
xubuntu 24.04 breaks filesystems on external disks after a new installation. Version 22.04 was fine, nothing like that happened. I need advice on what I can do about this? I'm just a user with a little more knowledge. I can work in the terminal just fine.
Please help me.

Re: problem with external disks

I keep trying, but it's still the same. I format the disks in gparted application, after copying about 300 GB files at once I get this message, see attachment.

Re: problem with external disks

No advice, so I guess I'll have to go back to xubuntu 22.04. This is happening on new drives as well, including SSDs and NVMe.
