nm-applet problem

when i first installed debian on my pc with xfce and i saw 2 panels one containing the nm-applet but i don't know how to put it on another panel and idk how to add it to one
i need help becaus eif i use wavelan its gonna take me a long time to set up a wifi connection

First you need to add the Status-Tray-Plugin to the panel you want to use.

Settings>>Panel>>Items>>add (scroll to the bottom) then select the plugin from the list.

Once the tray is added and nm-applet is running it should show up on the panel along with whatever else sits in the tray.
