StatusNotifier Panel Plugin. Does It Even Work?

Status Tray plugin keeps crashing on me so I thought I'd give the only available alternative a go, but it doesn't appear to do anything

Re: StatusNotifier Panel Plugin. Does It Even Work?

Which distro? Version of Xfce? Anything in the log files?

Try running xfce4-panel in debug mode, waiting for the crash and posting back the output.

xfce4-panel -q && PANEL_DEBUG=1 xfce4-panel

Xubuntu 22.04, 4.18.  Where are the log files kept?

~/.xsession-errors

But you can manually generate a debug log using the command from my previous post.
