Remote and extended use of the desktop

Hello!

How do I enable remote access to my workstations XServer?
I am running lightdm, but the settings are not clear to me!
Would this be the same as XDMCP?

Is there any chance to run the login in xvfb and switch
to a users own xserver? In This case, I could run a second
session in parallel and visually - in a Xephyr, for example?

Would make me happy to get some highlights!
