Hello guys! Anyone knows a fix for this? It happens all the time for me on my chromium browser so basically when I put it in fullscreen from the minimized state its good but after a few minutes of it being fullscreen the minimized size is kinda getting screwed, and when I exit the fullscreen it stays on that full size window, without saving the minimized window size. I always put my browser fullscreen and going back to window sized and everytime this happens all the time its so annoying,I tried searching everywhere but seems like im the only one,and maybe one of you can help me with this. RTX 3060 ti,linux zen latest on arch linux (x server with latest nvidia drivers) I always had this issue on xfce,no matter what kernel, display driver I try. Thanks in advance
Nvidia driver version:565.57.01 (proprietary - dkms)

I am not sure if I understand you correctly...
It seems that I have the same problem with Leafpad and some other programs, I think it's a question of the program itself, not XFCE. If it was XFCE, it would happen with all windows of all programs, I suppose (I have more than sixty programs installed and it only happens with three of them).
PS.Looking at the video it seems that you have some problem with graphics configuration or that only the IGP is working.

Hey,this wasnt happening with the same browser on other D.E. like Kde,gnome, lxqt and also window managers like awesome and dwm,I tried them all,its only happening on xfce. The visual bugs are from the fact that all my compositors are turned off to reduce latency as I need the lower latency. Basically when I have my browser minimized and put it in fullscreen, after a few minutes when minimizing the browser again the window basically just stays fullscreen and I have to manually resize it,check the video again and look at my cursor and you will see exactly the issue.

I just installed Chromium to test and cannot reproduce your complaint. My guess there is a setting somewhere in Chromium gone wrong. Oh, and the artifacting you have on the video, it's not caused by having the compositor turned off.

This is what I have written, simply that for me it is not a DE problem, but that the program does not have a graphical interface adapted to DE (like problems with qt in gtk environment and vice versa). When you install XFCE, the default browser is Firefox and it is guaranteed to be adapted to this environment, if you install programs that are not part of the XFCE universe, anything can happen. For example I use Okular which comes from KDE and I am not surprised that there are theming problems.
It should not surprise you that Pontiac brakes sometimes do not adapt to Dodge...
And check Chromium settings, maybe there is something wrong there, as eriefisher says.

I understand, thank you for the tips and I will check the chromium settings, currently I have thorium. Turning on composition is fixing all the artifcats for me tho, nvidia drivers are known to have some visual artifacts when composition is off on all other DEs(I had the same visual bugs on all other des with the composition off, except for window managers)
