I am trying to customize my desktop to my liking, but there is one thing i have not managed to customize. I cannot make the text on the desktop expanded. I have tried to search the web for help, but I always end with the same result; nothing.
I have noticed the text expands more when i change the icon size, but that is not what I want, I want more space on my desktop and make the background more visible. The lowest Icon size which makes the text expand the most to my liking is 38x38px, but that is not a commonly acceptable icon size.
How the desktop icons look like in 32x32 size.
How the desktop icons look like in 38x38 size.
(My image hoster stopped working which means i can not show a preview here)
I have additionally noticed the text becomes expanded when i select an icon.
Additionally, I want the font size to stay the same as well (since it has that retro look).
Consequently, how do I make the whole text expanded without changing the icon (32x32) or font size (8)? Is there anything in a css in my gtk theme i have to change or is a setting for this elsewhere?
