Hello;
Suspend, restart, shutdown are greyed-out and cannot be chosen from the log out menu. They are grayed-out after I chose log-out and log-in again as a user. If I try to suspend before I log-out and log-in, it throws an "Failed to suspend session: Failed to lock the screen" error and does not suspends the system.
These things are not true if I log in as root, they work as intended.

I am using MX linux 23-4_64x, live usb, but the original iso doesn't have this problem and I am just at the beginning of using the distro, I just configured the desktop, installed a browser, thats all. I tried to get the same result by making same changes to the original iso but did not worked.
