How to customize the wired network connection icon in Xfce

Hello everyone,

I just tonight found and joined this amazing forum. I found here the answer to how to change the color of the text and icons in the "systray" area on the left of my panel.

I am thrilled with the successful edit I learned here, but I need to do further customization. I want to set a custom Wired Network Connection icon instead of using the default white and blue icon.

I am on Linux Mint 21.3 | Xfce.

Can anyone please explain how to customize this particular icon?

Thank you for reading,

Logan

Re: How to customize the wired network connection icon in Xfce

Thank you very much for the link.

I have found the proper nm-device-wired.svg to rename so I can hang onto it, and have put in my own image with the correct icon name. It's working perfectly!
