[Solved] open pinned apps without window button

I have been using xfce for quite some time but I feel there is something missing

When the application shortcut is pinned to the xfce-panel it opens as a window button unlike the windows taskbar, panel on kde or dock on gnome which opens directly

Is there some kind of special plugin or feature like this that I have to activate?

Rather than pinning and application(not sure how your doing that) you can add a "Launcher". Edit the launcher and add an application. You can use one launcher with several applications, this is like a menu, or you can have one launcher per application.

yes i know that but it would be very easy and fun if there was a plugin that supports shortcuts to open without needing the window button
