Hi, I;ve been using XFCE for several years on Fedora (that's the old part). I completely barfed Fedora somehow upgrading my Dell T3500 workstation and decided to try a Fedora XFCE Spin instead of installing Fedora (which defaults to GNOME) and then installing XFCE on top of it.

I like it because I only have basic Linux and XFCE, a much lighter system. I'm trying to use as much XFCE as I can and not add any GNOME applications. I'm using Audacious as my music player and have 4,000+ tracks. I listen to a lot of music on my computers.
I'm 68 and married, live north of Austin, Texs. I'm originally from Houston and migrated here 35 years ago. I worked for IBM for 19 years supporting AIX system admins and then got laid off. I got hired as an AIX systems admin at a company called OpenText where I'm now working from home when they shut down the Austin office.
I like to red, run and of course fool around on the Internet. I love the technology of the 21st century, coming from the Baby Boomer years of my youth :-)

Funny, I'm still rocking my T3500 workstation, too.
Granted, I upgraded PSU, GPU, SSD and RAM, but the case still says T3500.
Welcome.
