Is there any kind of scripting/extension capability for XFCE where I can quickly make a pop up GUI that has buttons that would do some action like run a command?
On KDE you can write kwin scripts to do things like show a GUI.
I'm wondering if there is something similar in XFCE?

The look similar:
- Zenity Bookworm package: https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/zenity
- Yad Bookwork package: https://packages.debian.org/bookworm/yad
Yad has more functionality. You can search these forms for "yad" or "zenity" to see some user-created scripts.
