Hi there, after make some experiments using the Salix repository on slackware, i had upgrade some packages looks like modify the init and anothers things i not have any clue because slapt-get does not make any history of changes made.
the /etc/fstab does not have any modification .
Well the thing is on Thunar now i can see partitions :
boot
pts
shm
proc
before that, the partitions "Boot" "pts" "shm" "proc" never appears inside the xfce device sub-menu
Someone knows which file i should edit to not show or hide that patitions ?
-----------------------------
Ok i don't know how i can explain the Device List on Thunar was change
Before Xfce Device List :
Before : When i change the hard disk for make some tests.
Hard Disk Drive 0, Partition 1 ] ( FileSystem )-> /
Hard Disk Drive 1, Partition 1 ] -> Slackware 15.0 (32 Bits)
Hard Disk Drive 1, Partition 2 ] -> Reserved For System [ Windows 10 Hidden Partition ]
Hard Disk Drive 1, Partition 3 ] -> Windows 10
Hard Disk Drive 2 -> DDM1
Hard Disk Drive 3 -> DDM2
USB Pendrive Partition 1 -> INU05
USB Pendrive Partition 2 -> INU05-Inicio
USB Pendrive Partition 3 -> INU05-LiGNUx
After : When i put my main hdd, and just for install some package from salix packages, install anothers ( because in that moment i don't know about the priority on slapt-get, and salix was marked with custom, the mayor priority for that package manager )
Current Xfce Device List :
Hard Disk Drive 0, Partition 2 ] ( Compartido )
Hard Disk Drive 0, Partition 3 ] ( Slack64-Inicio ) [ boot ]
Hard Disk Drive 0, Partition 4 ] [ Extended ]
Hard Disk Drive 0, Partition 5 ] [ Swap ]
Hard Disk Drive 0, Partition 6 ] ( Slack64 ) [ Root ] "FileSystem"
thunar is showing :
Slack64 " FileSystem "
Slack64 " FileSystem Root " -> This not appears before
Slack64 " boot " ( already mounted on /boot ) -> This not appears before
" pts " -> This not appears before
" shm " -> This not appears before
" Compartido " -> This is right.
" proc " -> This not appears before
" INU05 " -> Forced Mount because the system can't mount automatically right now
" INU05-Inicio " -> Forced Mount because the system can't mount automatically right now
" INU05-LiGNUx " -> Forced Mount because the system can't mount automatically right now but does not appears on Thunar, wtf
Trying via command line :
udisksctl mount --block-device /dev/sdf1
Return the follow :
Error connecting to the udisks daemon: Error al llamar StartSereviceByName para org.freedesktop.UDisks2: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 127
i had read in the url an example -> https://slackalaxy.com/2015/10/03/hidin … artitions/
but " shm " , " proc " , " pts " does not appears like "partitions" from "hdd" to hide with that method.
Added later 5 h 14 min 36 s:
Just a quick try before sleep
udisksctl mount --block-device /dev/sde1
Error connecting to the udisks daemon: Error al llamar StartSereviceByName para org.freedesktop.UDisks2: Launch helper exited with unknown return code 12
Ok is trying to use a "Daemon" of "Udisk"
locate udisk2
Between results this file capture my curiosity -> /usr/share/gtk-doc/html/udisks2/udiskd.8.html
locate udisksd
/usr/libexec/udisks2/udisksd
/usr/man/man8/udisksd.8.gz
sudo su
/usr/libexec/udisks2/udisksd
/usr/libexec/udisks2/udisksd: error while loading shared libraries: libblockdev.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
slackpkg file-search libblockdev.so.2
Looking for libblockdev.so.2 in package list. Please wait... DONE
The list below shows the packages that contains "libblockdev\.so\.2" file.
[uninstalled] - libblockdev-2.26-x86_64-3
You can search specific packages using "slackpkg search package".
slackpkg install libblockdev
ldd /usr/libexec/udisks2/udisksd | grep "not found"
Trying again the usb partitions mount by udiskctl command
udisksctl mount -b /dev/sde2
Mounted /dev/sde2 at /run/media/inukaze/INU05-Inicio
Well this part is solved.
Added later 13 h 10 min 46 s:
Well after install libblock and reboot , the partitions :
FileSystem Root
boot
pts
shm
proc
Not appear anymore . This is solved
Here an Screenshoot :
