I posted something a while back about labeling the xfce xterm window. The Title option was pointed out. If you run more than a few windows it get rather tedious labeling each window. I run with 8 desktops and generally have about 10 open windows at a time. It would be fairly simple to have xterm initialization run the command
hostname -s
.

You can. You can configure your terminal-emulator frame to exhibit the system name
or you can call neofetch (deprecated) or fastfetch from .bash_aliases to display your system information.
You can also use banner

To modify the title on the terminal frame, open terminal Preferences, tab General under section Title, you can set it to read whatever you desire. My Initial Title is set to Terminal, and just below I chose Dynamically-set title: Goes after initial title.
As I wrote earlier, I'll try to post some images later.
