Bad Labwc Update

Heads up! Labwc just updated to 0.8.2-1 in Debian sid and now it fails to start. This is also freezing up lightdm. Hold off on upgrading.

Re: Bad Labwc Update

Thanks for the heads up. Anything in log files that might indicate the problem?

Re: Bad Labwc Update

I haven't checked. Hope to look today.

Added later 57 min 58 s:
I have partially sorted this. It looks like the update overwrote the /usr/share/wayland-sessions/labwc.desktop file. I had edited it to start with xfce4. So now I have copied and edited it to reflect what I want with Exec=startxfce4 --wayland. This works perfectly when called from a VT but lightdm is freezing up when starting anything labwc. Starting and X or a wayfire session is no problem.

Edit: I forgot to add the "--" in the new labwc.desktop file. Corrected it and it works again.
