[SOLVED]Workspace settings: Icons not showing in the workspace anymore

Hi, I re-installed xfce and now my workspace buttons no longer show the icons that are in them.
All I get is either a blank or a number if I select number.

How can I make the existing windows/icons for that workspace   appear in that workspace ?

If you right click on the workspaces plugin and select "Properties" you can select the view. You likely want "Miniature" to show each workspace/desktop.
