My avatar is not applied

Hi, in my profile I choosed and uploaded an avatar: the firts, PNG, dimensions 256x256, and I thought that it was too big: then I edited it in JPEG 80x80, but again, is not applied. Am I miss something?

EDIT: i've seen the limit of 10Kb, but my avatar image is only of 78 bytes.

The limit is 60x60 and 10 kb. If you exceed either it will be refused.

I made a png of 60x60px, 724 bytes, but is still not applied.
