hidpi issue on startup

Hello, developers and users of the best wm in the world smile

Wanted a bit of help or report a bug - whatever it would turn to be.

I am using latest debian sid.
that is as I understand xfc4 4.20
everything was ok until january i think, but now on startup I am getting issue with scaling.
i have 4k display and window scaling is set to 2x.
right after the dm (lightdm) finishes, fonts look like 4x magnified (not even fitting into buttons), not just font I guess.
i have to do magic: go to settings, set window scaling to 1x, then back to 2x, then close window and then everything looks almost ok, as before upgrade
i am using xorg

what to check?

Not sure if I understood how to post images here, but i paste it to the random site in the internet: https://ibb.co/jCSPY6k

Re: hidpi issue on startup

Is the custom DPI option in xfce4-appearance-settings > fonts checked? If not, does checking it solve the problem?

Yeah, that solved my problem!

I set that to 95 and problem was solved.

Thanks smile

Is there anything I could do to help xfce people to resolve this issue if devs believe it might be an issue at xfce4 side?
