how to make thunar reload uca.mxl (custom actions) programmatically?

is there a shell command to make thunar reload the custom actions file ~/.config/Thunar/uca.xml?

Did you tried to simply close Thunar and execute, in Terminal

thunar -q

?

Sure, is (copy from thunar --help):

-q, --quit                 Quit a running Thunar instance

And is usefull for real quiting, as only closing all windows still keep running it in background as daemon.

If you set the option to save the session it should relaunch your windows when you open it back up again.
