I found myself subscribed to topics which I only visit

As described in the title, this occurs:

I often receive emails from this forum, which alert me that:

Username has replied to the topic 'TOPIC NAME' to which you are subscribed. There may be more new replies, but this is the only notification you will receive until you visit the board again.

The post is located at https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?pid=xxxxx#pxxxxx

You can unsubscribe by going to https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id … nsubscribe and clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the page.

But I only visited/read these topics: I didn't interact at all (no reply from me nor clicked on "subscribe".
In my preference I also not set "Automatically subscribe":

What to do, to avoid this?

It's also possible to subscribe to a sections. On the main page of this site you will see 7 main sections. Click on these sections to see the various threads under each section. At the bottom there is an option to "Subscribe to this forum". If you see a "Unsubscribe" link, that means you've already subscribed to the forum - simply click it to unsubscribe. Check all 7 sections.

Mark solved threads as [SOLVED] to make it easier for others to find solutions.
