Windows 10Microsoft Edge 133.0

New to linux cannot bring up xfce desktop

I setup windows subsystem for linus, installed Ubuntu now I wanted a desktop environment so I downloaded xfce to my current setup but have no idea how to bring xfce up once installed.

i don't use windows, but if you have already standalone linux gui app working, then you can try run: startxfce4

This is what I get when I do what you suggest. I do have Ubuntu installed but it isn't a gui at least all I've seen is a command prompt.
