When I drag windows on the desktop, they hit a "boundary" of some sort before they reach the right or bottom edge of the screen. If I continue to drag, the cursor "skids" along the window's title bar and the window stays where it is. The invisible boundary varies according the the window size: larger windows will drag further than smaller ones. Windows can be maximised and fill the whole screen. as they should.
This behaviour started some months ago, presumably after an upgrade, or possibly when I fiddled with some settings.
Running Ubuntu 24.04.

No tiling, margins all show zero.
Single workspace.
Dual X screens (:0.0. :0.1) one of which is TV; the problem shows on :0.0, console monitor.

Do you have the problem on both screens? Possible resolution mismatch??

Update: it goes away after a restart. It comes back (but not always) if I drag a window off the screen to the right and downwards. Can't answer about the TV, it only ever has one app running, which is full screen.
