Hi Frens 25 years later

Hi Frens,

I am new here, looking forward getting in touch with all of you!

I am an old Debian'er from the bottom of my heart since 93, mainly on Servers. I'm also a frustrated Ubuntu and Gnome user, thought it would be easier to install Ubuntu on a desktop but NO, just troubles and endless updates that mess things up.

Today, I re-installed lovely XFCE on Debian the first time 25 years later. Back then, I used it on my SUN Sparcstation running Debian, here's my vintage screenshot from 2000 running XFCE together with FVWM2:

As a nerd back then, I also rendered some (vintage) XFCE logos.

Just wanted to say hello and I am excited how much XFCE progressed over the years!

FANTASTIC project.
All worked quite out of the box!

Cheers
Marc

Hiya! I love the retro XFCE desktop look, would you happen to know the name of that version of XFCE or know if there are any themes out there that replicate it on a modern copy?
Also love the 90s energy of the animated XFCE gifs.
