I really like ristretto. It is fast and supports my own folder structure w/o imposing a layout or hidden data base.
However, I miss something like showing the GPS coordinates or, better, performing some action to open open streetmap with the location.
First I thought that ristretto and Thunar are close friends and that I could write a custom action for Thunar to take the GPS coordinates and mungle it into an URL to fire up the default browser. But that custom action is not available in ristretto.
Then, there is ristretto's image properties dialogue which looks like the one from Thunar. So I was thinking that maybe there would be an option to add these coordinates to the already displayed information. But could not find any way to achieve this, either.
So, in order to get the GPS coordinates into ristretto's properties dialogue, would I need to open a feature request for ristretto or Thunar?
Or do you guys see any other alternative (besides using shotwell, digiKam, or darktable)?

There is already a feature request about this (among other metadata): https://gitlab.xfce.org/apps/ristretto/-/issues/79

Ha, and I was wondering why no one yet issued a feature request...
...but unfortunately, I was searching for 'GPS' instead of 'metadata' or 'exif'.
Thanks for the pointer!
