Hi,
I'm using XFCE 4.20 on Arch Linux, on my PC as well as my Laptop.
The update to 4.20 seems to has changed the behavior of the File/Launcher Icons.
I have multiple entries in my /etc/fstab for USB drives I regularly use and need to have on a specific mount point (instead of /run/...). These are identified by either LABEL= or UUID= and all have the user mount option.
These are my Desktop Settings:
Default Icons
[x] Home
[x] File System
[x] Trash
[x] Devices
[ ] Network Shares
[x] Removable Disks and Drives
[ ] Fixed Disks and Drives
[ ] Other Devices
On my PC, there are icons for all fstab entries, regardless of mount status and device presence, but any additional (i.e. not in fstab) USB drives doesn't show up when connected. If I deslect Removable Disks and Drives, the fstab entries disappear, but of course additional devices also don't show up.
On the Laptop, these settings work more or less as expected: no icons for the fstab entries, but additional devices show up.
Both PC and laptop had their last updates yesterday, and both have some fstab entries (fewer on the Laptop, but still some).
I need some advice for troubleshooting this.
Thanks.
