500-700 ms delays in window top-left icon and sometimes file dialog

Not a major problem, but a bit... strange? So I thought I'd ask.

If I click your window's top-left icon, to open the window manager menu ("always on top" etc.), there's a lag between the mouse click and the appearance of the menu.

Just about everything else that I click responds instantly. I can't think of any good reason why this one interface element would lag.

Also, I sometimes notice that the XFCE file dialog lags when pressing <enter>. Like, in a save dialog, if I type in the file name and press <enter>, there is a bit of a delay, but if I type in the file name and click OK with the mouse, the response is faster.

Again, nothing catastrophic, but it's a weird little inconsistency, makes me curious what's going on.
