Panel 1 icons for multiple running packages

I have a new install of Debian Bookworm / XFCE . My previous install of Bookworm had individual tiles (side by side) for each instance of a running package. After the new install multiple instances now are accessed through a pull down selection (see screenshot). I've searched around the settings and I'm not seeing how to get back to the individual tiles?

Ctrl+Right-click the button and select Properties. Uncheck the "Group windows by application" option.

Thanks for responding. That was one of the first things I tried, but it didn't have an effect. But now, it does, weird. Just to clarify the button properties are accessed by right clicking any panel, then Panel Preferences / Items / Window Buttons.

Thanks!
