Google gives me email clients for gnome and KDE, currently I use Claw Mail 3.21.0 but impossible to use Hotmail.
If you think it's better to stay with the web mail tell me, it's my main email I don't want to break everything.
Thank You for Your Advice.

I use web mail for hotmail in a pinned tab on my browser. However, I believe the following have all worked for me at one time or another:
thunderbird
evolution
geary
mailspring
Perhaps you can try them one at a time to see if any meet your needs?

I've never had a hotmail account. Is there something different about them that email clients don't like?

No, not really. The real difference is dedicated email client vs browser tab.

After testing the alternatives, I decided to stay with the web Browser.
xfce4-mailwatch-plugin-1.2.0 does not work with hotmail, my xfce is too old for xfce4-mailwatch-plugin-1.3.2, But I will keep it for my other accounts.
have a nice day.
