Window Tiling in a Multi Monitor Setup

Hi,

lets say i have 2 monitors and the mouse pointer is in the left one. i move a window to the right edge and instead of tiling the window (= behaviour in a single monitor setup) it's moved to the right screen. Is there a solution to tile windows in a multi monitor setup? When i move the mouse to the edge the mouse is switching to the other screen but when i hold a button while moving to the edge the windows is tiled instead of moved to the other screen.

Alternative: Instead of 2 monitors that are expand to one big screen or mirroring create two monitors that work from each other independently. Just like when i use workspaces. I move a window to the other monitor and go back and can work like in a single monitor setup.

When this is not possible with xfwm is there a solution with xrandr?
