[SOLVED] Weird screen scaling on XFCE - Debian 12

Hi there.

I'm switched my default desktop environment from Gnome to XFCE in Debian 12.

However, my laptop's screen scaling doesn't look like the XFCE screenshots, looks vertically stretched, and I don't find any clue about how to fix it.

I've installed xfce4 and xfce4-goodies only.

Someone can help?

Thank you

Hello and welcome.

The screenshot looks fine to me. What exactly do you mean by "vertically stretched"? Also, can you post back the output of:

xrandr

Thank you for quick reply

To clarify, vertically streched, I mean the font used on applications menu and Thunar items, when I installed, the default font is Sans Regular.

If it's a common behavior in XFCE, no problem.

Maybe I just was used too much to the Gnome style.

Added later 3 h 04 min 41 s:
To contribute to other users, apparently the theme was the issue.

Just tweaked the configurations, font size, window size, etc

The desktop look better now.

Thank you.
