Hi,
I've just installed XFCE4 on my laptop and have an issue with the bottom panel. When the panel autohides, in order for it to pop up again, I have to aim the mouse exactly at the thin bar that remains when it's hidden. If I simply drag my mouse to the bottom of the screen, it goes below the panel and it doesn't pop up.
My specs are:
Dist: Arch Linux
Kernel: 6.15.8-arch1-1
DE: Xfce4 4.20
WM: Xfwm (X11)
WM Theme: Default-xhdpi (scale is set to 2x, since I'm on a laptop, screen resolution is 1920x1080)
Theme: Adwaita-dark [GTK2/3/4]
Thanks for any possible help, if I can provide any additional useful information, let me know.

Hello and welcome.
Is this the default panel-2 that comes default or another one that you created?
Can you post back your panel settings:
xfconf-query -c xfce4-panel -lv...your display settings:
xfconf-query -c displays -lv...and the output of xrandr:

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Yes, I am using the default panel-2.
You will find outputs of the commands in this pastebin: https://pastebin.com/CTJFtxn6.

Hmmmm. Everything looks good.
Does it work properly if you set the display scale back to 1?

I misspoke earlier, by display scale I actually meant window scale (in appearance under settings), which I now set to 1x (which, weirdly, had no effect. Maybe because I set the GTK and QT scaling env variables in the meantime). My display scale (under display) is set to 0.70.
I just tried setting display scale to 1 and that seemingly fixed the issue, however everything's too big when it's set that way. Any recommendations on how to proceed? Should I use some different way of scaling the display or keep trying to fix the panel pop-up issue?
Again, thank you for your time and help.

I would create a bug report.
