Segfault in xfce4-session. Should I create ticket?

I just had a strange error that my open terminals stopped responding.
This happened only once for now. I think the information below (dmesg) is what happened at that moment:

[17716.673211] xfce4-session[1998]: segfault at 56394bfb18c4 ip 00007ff9f699b758 sp 00007ffeeee0cb80 error 7 in libSM.so.6.0.1[4758,7ff9f6999000+5000] likely on CPU 6 (core 0, socket 0)

I'm on Debian Trixie, but I have a custom kernel (6.15.8) to get better support for my wifi card.

Is this useful enough to create a ticket?

Re: Segfault in xfce4-session. Should I create ticket?

Hello and welcome.

Most useful would be a backtrace with debug symbols. See: https://wiki.debian.org/HowToGetABacktrace.

Thanks for the information.

I will try to do that next time. It only happened once.

I also get more and complete freezes when I enable the compositor. I guess a driver issue. (New Framework 13 laptop)

The freezing is a X11 bug, not xfce4:
