Debian Trixie - Proxmox shutdown causes logout

Hello all,

On the new Debian Trixie, when I click shutdown on Proxmox it instead logs out. How can that be configured.
On the Power manager settings of xfce4 it says on power button press, "ask".

How can that happen?

This all has been configured through Preseeds and xfconf-query commands.
