Windows opacity/transparency blending modes, replacing src-over rule ?

Hello,

I use a lot the frame opacity property to keep multiple windows visible.

Currently when two ore more windows overlaps the colors are blended using the src-over rule.

Is there a way to change this behavior to obtain different blending modes ?

I would like to be able to use some of those used in Gimp for example :

Can we configure this parameter somewhere ? or give the merge function somewhere ?
