Notes App Requires Maximize Before Minimize

There's a strange bug where, if I try to minimize the notes app, the Minimize option is greyed out until I maximize and then unmaximize the window. Here are some screenshots:

Is this expected behavior? I'm on Xubuntu 25.04, xfdesktop version 4.20.1, running on Xfce 4.20 with X11.

It appears you have the option to display on the taskbar enabled in Notes properties. By default this is off and the notes icon appears in the system tray. This icon is clickable to show/hide the plugin.

However, the taskbar icon is not and you should open a bug report for it at https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/x … n/-/issues. The issue is probably related to https://gitlab.xfce.org/panel-plugins/x … /issues/18.

Yeah, I have the "Hide notes from taskbar" option unchecked so that I can cycle to it using Alt+Tab. I'll file a bug report. Thanks!
