cli configure display

HI!

I have a newly installed Debian 13 XFCE.
Laptop, singe monitor.

For some reason,  display changed to very low resolution, but virtual normal desktop.
So, when using GUI-tool for configure, knobs is out of reach.

What files to edit to get back decent display settings?

//regards rbh

Re: cli configure display

Hello and welcome.

The easiest way would be to reboot and before you log in, go to another TTY (Ctrl+Alt+F2), delete the ~/.config/xfce4/xfconf/xfce-perchannel-xml/displays.xml file, return to the graphical TTY and login. This will reset the display settings.
