Window problem when switching workspaces

After I have changed the window location by the XFCE predefined tiling commands (for example put the window to the upper left corner) then when I use xdotool or wctrl commands to resize and reposition a window, its size and location are not preserved after switching to another workspace and back.

I think this is the same problem what is described in this bug report

My question: Is this bug fixed in the latest XFCE version?

Btw.
This does not happen if I move or resize the window manually with the mouse.

Re: Window problem when switching workspaces

The issue has been open for over 10 months with no progress. I solved the bug by stopping the use of that built-in feature and creating my own bash script that handles window tiling, geometry settings, and window placement across different monitors and desktops. So the issue is "resolved."

Thank you.

Re: Window problem when switching workspaces

There has been no progress on this issue for over 10 months. To fix the issue, I disabled the built-in feature and instead wrote a bash script to manage the geometry settings, window placement across desktops and monitors, and window tiling. The problem has thus been "fixed."
