Hi to everyone. See below pictures. This is frustrating me. Why does this have to bloody happen?
This is happening after a default install of Debian 13 XFCE using the offline DVD. Can someone help?
There is only one account (mine) on this PC. No one else's. I use sudo to get access to root (if that helps).
I like XFCE very much and would like to use it full-time without interruption or issue. Thank you very much.
P.S.: The pictures are set to disappear after 30 days. They are of prompts for passwords to authenticate sleep.

Update:
Someone else was able to help. They directed me to this link: https://forums.debian.net/viewtopic.php … 27#p814827.
Basically, the "fix" is to uninstall light-locker, then install xfce4-screensaver. Log off, then back on. Presto; all fixed. Great.
But why did this have to be such a thing? Why'd the Debian team deviate from the original packages that comprise XFCE?
For now, I'm just glad the problem is resolved, but I certainly hope the Debian team implements a permanent fix soon. Cheers.

Light-locker is part of the LightDM project and not actually part of Xfce4 so this is a Debian issue not an Xfce4 issue. Easy enough to resolve though.

Thank you very much for clarifying that. Still strange, though, how Debian made things the way they are. Interesting.
In any case, I have temporarily restored my cloned image of Zorin while I continue investigating other XFCE options. Again, thanks.
