Hello,
I'm currently using xfce on fedora desktop. I really like the discreet look and feel of it all but the power management settings do not seem to work.
Here are my current settings in the Display section:
Blank after : 60 minutes
Put to sleep after : Never
Switch off after : Never
Except it goes blank much sooner (like after 5 min of inactivity), and logs me off at the same time.
How do I fix this ?
I used to have GNOME as my DE but had no issue with the power management settings.
Thanks

Hello and welcome.
What version of Xfce are you running?
Are you running a screensaver or locker program? And if so, which one?

Just to make sure, what does the following return:
ps -ef | grep -E 'screensaver|locker' | grep -v grep
Also, what does the following return:
xset q

In 4.18, there were some inconsistencies related to blank time between xfce4-power-manager and xfce4-screensaver that was fixed in 4.19 I believe. The Blank After control in the power manager was removed. You could try changing the screensaver's "Regard the computer as idle after" value (is it currently set to 5 minutes)?
