Hi to everyone. Recently switched from Linux Mint Debian to Debian 13 XFCE. I can't believe I didn't give XFCE more of a chance earlier. After having tried it out with Debian 13 (when it first came out), I realized how XFCE could possibly work better for me. I was too quick to dismiss it before. That's on me. But now? I love it (and how customizable it is). Yes, it would be nice to have basic window animations at least, but ... at the end of the day, it's function over form. Here is my desktop so you can see how I have it set up. I do wish Debian 13 XFCE came with a slightly more user-friendly initial configuration, but it's all good now. Anyway, enjoy ...
(I might go for the GNOME2 look [two bars; one at top, and one at bottom], but for now, this suits me OK.)
