So, I'm on a fresh install of manjaro + xfce and can't figure it out what exactly I'm doing wrong.
The problem is that the desktop and windows sizes are bigger than the actual monitor I'm using, if I maximize any window, small sections in the bottom and right sides are out of bounds, but I can freely move my mouse there and interact normally, as if it were in the part of the screen that I can see
I think i tried each and every resolution available for this monitor, but none of them fix the problem ( It actually worsens, because the problem persists and the resolution is messed up). Also tried the scaling option and the issue persists, just at different scales.
The below screenshots should make the problem clearer.
This is what I can see:

Some information would help. Video card and driver, screen resolution.

Additionally, the current resolution is indeed set to 2048x1536* (4:3) on the display app.
Sometimes I also use an external monitor, and the problem does not happen with it.
And finally, if it's any useful, I'm using an Sony Vaio VPCF115FM that is rather old when it comes to laptops (~15 yo).
