Can i get 4.20 with wayland support on Arch/Cachy?

I never post here because XFCE works so damn well.

I'm getting a flickering cursour with composting turned on so i had to turn it off.   So it got me wondering about wayland support.

If anyone knows how i could ammend the flickering mouse cusor without turning composting off that would be cool.  its a radeon GPU and i think it might have something to do with the GPU as i dont recall this issue happening before i had the gpu.

Thanks.

Have a look at this thread for info on how to set different vblank modes in xfwm4's compositor. Perhaps one of them will solve your problem (maybe xpresent - but make sure you have the libxpresent library installed).

Regarding Xfce 4.20 and wayland, there are a few threads on this forum regarding how to get it to work (search for "wayland" or "labwc" or "wayfire"). Currently it will work with labwc and wayfire, but it is experimental.

Mark solved threads as [SOLVED] to make it easier for others to find solutions.
