It would be very cool if a window could be moved so half of it was on a adjacent workspace. Or even four or more workspaces depending on how it was resized.
Then the noition of workspaces could be done away with and rplaced specifying the total area of workspaces and its shape.
ctl+alt left would move one screen resolution size left not really change workspace.
alt + scroll could zoom out to show multiple workspaces.
or alt + scroll the other way could zoom in. The screen would need to stay fixed or have that option.
For XFCE,, this really seems like the right direction given the style of XFCE.
Combined with good session support,, a big freaking desktop of applications could be laid out in a very organized and meaningfull manner,, switching half a workspace over or even diagonal, etc would be neat.
what do yall think?
