Hello hello

Hi everyone. Recently started my linux journey and currently settled with mint/XFCE for now after trying other desktops. Had to switch from windows 10 due to EOL and general sluggishness. Laptop running a modest i5-6200u, upgraded to 16gb ram and a new ssd while at it.

Cinnamon UX and features were great however there was still some lag while opening settings/apps.
Gnome had great UX too and the animations were impressive, however the lag increased.
antiX was similar to XFCE in that there was basically 0 lag however the settings didn't feel polished and turning on wifi was a chore,
so XFCE has been my savior and is just what I'm looking for. Started adding some external plugins and already got superb support regarding a query I posted in the forum earlier, thanks to ToZ!
Also your themes & screenshots forum is a goldmine of art, I'm certainly gonna steal from it!
Glad to be part of this awesome community. I'm gonna learn a lot from y'all and gonna help in any way I can.
