All-day events not displaying below calendar, but do show on "View ...

FULL TITLE: All-day events not displaying below calendar, but do show on "View>View Selected Week"

I've been using the XFCE desktop in two linux distros that are based on Debian. The three *.ics files I am using come from vdirsyncer synchronising with my Google calendar. One is a Diary calendar, which is mainly timed appointments, and these display just fine. One is a Public Holidays calendar which obviously consists of all-day events, and the third is a Birthday calendar generated from my Google contacts, also all-day events.

In both cases, the Orage calendar was working perfectly, but, in both cases, the distros have now put out a test version based on Debian 13 (Trixie). In both cases, only the entries from my Diary calendar are displayed, except for any all-day events. But the Birthdays and Public Holidays are not displayed below the calendar.

However, if I click on View > View Selected Week, the all day events display correctly.

I suspect that maybe an auxilliary program, which should have been a dependency, was required to display the missing items. I'm convinced of this because another distro which is a rolling release, has updated to the latest version of XFCE, and still works properly.

Can anyone tell me if there is such an auxilliary package that would, if installed, enable the all-day events to be displayed on the calendar window?

For reference, the two Debian based distros are: MX Linux and PCLOS Debian Edition.

The rolling release distro that works perfectly is PCLinuxOS.

Thanks.

Sorry should have added that the only report I've found of this bug is here (it's not me):
