Re: Where do I put the plugin?

It should be in your distro's repositories - no need to download and install it. If you are using ubuntu:

sudo apt install thunar-archive-plugin

Mark solved threads as [SOLVED] to make it easier for others to find solutions.

Re: Where do I put the plugin?

Ah ha! This file although usable requires you to compile it to use it (presence of the makefile). And even you did compile it, you will still need to run it inside the folder where you put the package. Meaning you cannot launch it from the start menu, nor update it automatically via the package manager

Normally depending on what linux you use, there are almost always a package manager where you can find compiled versions with ease. All you need to do is download and install them from there. Then they do all the check for you, automatically update everything for you from the command line, saving you a lot of time and being worry free.
