A Linux terminal with the configurable key press on..

How on a Linux terminal can I have key press:
• SHIFT+INSERT → paste primary selection
• CTRL+SHIFT+INSERT → paste clipboard selection

since the terminal now has them swapped  with respect to other apps; browser, Geany, other text editors, etc?

If you are referring to xfce4-terminal, go to Preferences > Shortcuts and tweak as necessary.
