How to get the pathname for the icon in the panel Launcher?

I'm using Xfce4-4.16.3-1, and a long time ago, I set up a number of Launchers in the panel. Now, I would like to find out the full pathnames for the icons that I chose for each of the Launchers, because I forgot where I found these icons on my machine, and there are literally hundreds of icon files spread out among numerous directories.

How can I find the exact pathname for each of these Launcher icons?

Thank you in advance.

PS: I'm running under Ubuntu 22.04, in case that makes any difference.

Re: How to get the pathname for the icon in the panel Launcher?

Each launcher has an associated .desktop file located within ~/.config/xfce4/panel/DIR, where DIR is the launcher date/time string directory name. In his .desktop file, there should be a filed called "Icon=" that lists the name and/or path of the icon being used.

Aha! I was looking in ~/.local, and I forgot about ~/.config.  This indeed is the info that I've been looking for.

Thank you very much!
